Helping Hands Blood Driveby Lauren Bailey
Did you know the number one recipient of blood products is cancer patients? And sadly, cancer affects people of all ages. That is why CBCC is teaming up with Baxter Village and Cookies for Kids' Cancer at the Helping Hands of Baxter Village Hall Blood Drive, 12:30-5:15 pm at the Baxter Village Community Center, 3387 Richard's Crossing in Fort Mill.
This drive is in honor and memory of 10 local children who have been impacted by cancer: Emma Rose Poplin-Revels, Daniel Kauffman, Carson Caskey, Libby Kern, Justine Seibel, Calvin Bradley, Asa Allen, Jenna Witherspoon, Noah Mayberry and Harlan Sullins.
You can directly impact the lives of children with cancer by donating life-sustaining blood. To make an appointment to donate at this drive or another drive near you, search by your zip code here, or call 704-972-4700.
