Difference-Maker Dadsby Lauren Bailey
If you’re a dad, we know you’re a difference-maker. You make a difference when you teach your son to ride a bike, or sit through your daughter’s two-hour ballet recital with a proud smile on your face. You make a difference when you take nighttime bottle duty or cut the crusts off peanut butter sandwiches. You make a difference just by being “Dad.”
So this Father’s Day, consider making another big difference – donating blood. Children need blood donations every day, and while it may not be your child, it’s someone’s little girl or little man. Bring your own father or your 16+ child, and make donating a family affair June 20 or 21 at one of our five centers. Everyone gets a free t-shirt, but even better, you walk away knowing that you just impacted up to three lives. Is there any better gift?
Donate double red cells* in one of our donor centers, and you will also leave with a movie ticket voucher on us (during the month of June). Post your pictures on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #DadsDonateDoubles or #DifferenceMakerDads.
Schedule your appointment at www.cbcc.us or call 704-972-4700. Walk-ins also welcome!
