LCH puppy delivery brings smilesby CBCC
Friday, Nov. 30, marked our first puppy delivery of the 2018 Puppies for Patients season!
For this first stop in our 14th year of the program, CBCC was joined by WBTV’s Maureen O’Boyle and a team from FOX 46 as we visited with children and families at Atrium Health’s Levine Children’s.
It is always such an honor to share the messages of hope and love from our donors with the special boys and girls in our local hospitals. Children of all ages lit up at the sight of their new furry friends. Parents were touched to know that so many people in the community were thinking about their families. Even Atrium staff members were excited to see the puppy trees go up and have something special to give to their young patients.
As always, these special moments are only made possible by volunteer blood donors and blood drives hosts in our community. We cannot do this without your support, and we can’t thank you enough for always giving it.
There’s still plenty of time to make a lifesaving blood or platelet donation at a CBCC center or mobile drive and sign your tag! Donate before Dec. 31 to send your message to a child spending the holidays in our local hospitals!
